CHENNAI: The state MSME department has disbursed a capital subsidy of Rs 9.05 crore to four SC/ST startups, marking a significant step towards promoting entrepreneurship and economic empowerment for marginalized communities. The capital subsidy was distributed by State MSME Minister T M Anbarasan at an event organized by StartUp TN under the TANSeed Fund scheme. In addition to the capital subsidy, Minister Anbarasan launched the Smartcard scheme, which offers concessional rates for various services including human resources, legal opinions, information technology, and media and publicity assistance.
