Pickleball enthusiasts in Downtown Buffalo are celebrating as Seneca One Tower unveils its brand new pickleball court. Offering an opportunity for players of all ages to enjoy this popular sport, the court is now open to the public. As an added bonus, for the first two weeks, all play on the court is free of charge.
Adam Leberer, Pickleball Manager at Seneca One, expressed his excitement about the new addition, stating, Seneca One is all about inclusivity and bringing people together. We thought pickleball would be a great way to do that. We want recreational players, competitive players, we want everyone to come and enjoy the court.
The introduction of the pickleball court aligns with Seneca One Tower’s plans to foster a stronger sense of community within the building. To further enhance this community connection, the tower has announced its intentions to organize special events centered around the pickleball court, with more details to be unveiled soon.
Not only is the court available for open play on a first-come, first-served basis until 1PM, but from 1PM to 8PM, players must reserve a spot in advance. Seneca One is using their Facebook and Instagram accounts to keep interested individuals updated on the court’s launch and availability.
For the adult players, there is an added twist for those seeking a little extra enjoyment while playing pickleball. The lobby bar at Seneca One will be serving happy hour drinks from 4PM to 8PM during the court’s operating hours on Tuesday to Friday.
This exciting development is a significant step toward growing the game of pickleball in the Buffalo area. With its emphasis on inclusivity and community, Seneca One Tower is providing a unique opportunity for individuals to come together, have fun, and enjoy a thrilling game of pickleball.
