Indian cooperative leader IFFCO has announced that it is exporting its one-of-a-kind Nano Urea to the US. The move comes during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s State visit to the US. An agreement for the export of the Nano Urea has been signed between IFFCO and Kapoor Enterprises of California. The nano urea is expected to revolutionize the agriculture sector, as it has the potential to reduce storage space and associated costs while assisting crop yield. A 500ml bottle of IFFCO Nano Urea liquid can replace at least one bag of conventional urea. IFFCO has so far exported over five lakh bottles of Nano Urea to more than 25 countries. India alone has bought over 5.7 crore bottles. The Nano Urea, a new fertilizer, has been developed by IFFCO after many years of research. It increases production and improves nutritional quality while reducing chemical fertilizer usage. Nano DAP liquid, another product from IFFCO, is cheaper than conventional DAP and has already been launched in the global market.
