The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is set to promote life-long learning and enable students to adapt to change in different sectors, according to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Speaking at the special convocation of the University of Jammu, Sinha said that the NEP was helping to create an education system that makes students conscious and not simply mechanical. He further encouraged students to follow their passion and respect individuality, unique talents, and ideas. The NEP 2020 was designed to improve resilience and adaptability among students while promoting independent and critical thinking to build up a better future. The convocation was also graced by Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar who blessed the students at the beginning of their working lives.
