The entire world stood still when news broke that a submersible vessel, Titanic, had gone missing with five passengers on board while exploring the Titanic’s remains. Among the concerned individuals is Fred Hagan, who has friends on the vessel and is praying for a positive outcome to the ongoing search.
In a recent interview on FOX and Friends, Hagan said, As long as there is the chance of them surviving and coming back to us alive, we have to focus only on rescue. He recalled that he had been on Titanic in July 2022 and that there were safety protocols in place. However, he understood that it was not safe, and those who know the passengers on board are heartbroken and praying for a miracle.
According to experts, the rescue mission remains a race against time, with the submersible only having about 15 hours of breathable oxygen left. Every underwater banging noise brings with it hope, but there is a sense of anguish among the family and friends of those on board.
Safety has been a concern for some passengers who have been on Titanic before. OceanGate, the Washington state-based company that operates Titan, faced a lawsuit over safety concerns, and outside experts also raised issues in 2018. Collin Taylor, who was on the vessel last year with his son, described its tight space, ambient temperature, and confined space. He can only imagine what those on board may be experiencing presently.
As rescue crews continue to work tirelessly to bring all assets and expertise to bear as quickly as possible, every individual is hoping for a happy ending. Hagan stated, I have faith and confidence in the incredible people that are out there, and I know they are doing everything possible.
Although the situation remains tense and uncertain, everyone is hoping for the best and praying for a positive outcome.
