ĐÀ NẴNG — The Đà Nẵng Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority, Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company, and Duy Tân University have joined forces to provide integrated circuit (IC) design training. The collaboration aims to address the need for quality human resources in Vietnam’s chip industry and boost the country’s IC sector.
The signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place on Friday (January 26) in Đà Nẵng, with the Minister of Science and Technology, Huỳnh Thành Đạt, highlighting the significance of the training program in improving the skills of researchers and engineers. Minister Đạt emphasized that the partnership between the three entities would benefit not only the city but also the entire country, serving the growing IC industry.
Đà Nẵng’s People’s Committee chairman, Lê Trung Chinh, expressed the city’s commitment to developing the semiconductor industry and enhancing human resources in the field. Chinh stressed that the rapid development of high-quality human resources was crucial for improving the sector’s competitiveness and attracting investment from leading global IC design companies.
The MoU signing took place as part of the Meet Đà Nẵng 2024 program, organized by the People’s Committee from January 25 to 27. The program aims to promote the development of the semiconductor industry and draw investment into major projects in the city.
