In Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district, 77 newly appointed teachers from the disability quota are under investigation for using fake disability certificates to acquire their positions. According to District Education Officer Anup Kumar Pathak, a total of 450 disability certificates were issued from Morena District Hospital, out of 750 appointments, which prompted an inquiry by the district collector. The investigation revealed that 77 certificates were not verified in Morena, resulting in an FIR being filed against the teachers in question. They are currently under investigation by the police administration and are posted in different districts across the state. The DEO and the police department assure that the matter will be examined thoroughly.
