Delhi High Court Directs Day-to-Day Trial in Haryana Civil Services Paper Leak Case, Decision Expected by April 15, India

The Delhi High Court has ordered a day-to-day hearing in the Haryana Judicial Paper Leak case and directed the trial court to dispose of the matter by April 15, 2024. The case involves the leaking of judicial examination papers and was transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi by the Supreme Court. The High Court dismissed a petition filed by a Former Registrar (Recruitment), Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking to summon the records of Punjab and Haryana High Court in the paper leak case. There are a total of nine accused in the matter, including the registrar recruitment who allegedly leaked the paper. The prosecution argued that there is sufficient material against the accused persons, including documentary and electronic evidence. The trial court is expected to expedite the matter and send a compliance report to the High Court.
