o9 Solutions, a leading software company, has revealed plans to launch a specialized supply chain skills academy in partnership with the Government of Telangana. The announcement came during a meeting between o9 Solutions’ CEO, Chakri Gottemukkala, and Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, Shri Sridhar Babu, at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos, Switzerland.
The primary objective of this academy is to provide high-quality training in specialized supply chain skills to thousands of graduating engineers in Telangana. These skills are currently in high demand from global companies operating in various manufacturing and retail industries. Meanwhile, the Government of Telangana will offer support in accessing education institutions and providing physical training infrastructure within the state.
Sri D Sridhar Babu, the Hon’ble IT Minister of Telangana, emphasized the importance of skilling across various sectors and expressed gratitude to o9 Solutions for their support in this significant endeavor. He further emphasized that creating experts in the supply chain sector is crucial to establishing Telangana as a hub for manufacturing and exports.
