A nine-month-old baby was allegedly kidnapped from a bus stand in Odisha’s Ganjam district when his mother fell asleep, according to the police. The incident occurred in the Khallikote town of the district. The woman had left her home after a fight with her husband and had been staying at the bus stand for two days. On Wednesday morning, she woke up to find her son missing and immediately contacted the police. The authorities have since arrested a 45-year-old woman in connection with the kidnapping. Thanks to the analysis of CCTV footage, the police were able to identify the alleged kidnapper, who was in possession of the baby. The baby was found and rescued in Bhubaneswar, which is approximately 120 km away from where he was kidnapped. He has been returned to his mother.
