Former England captain Nasser Hussain has revealed that the England Women’s team believes they are capable of beating Australia on their home turf. The Women’s Ashes starts on Wednesday at Trent Bridge, with Australia holding the series trophy since 2015 and having won three out of the last four series. Despite the odds being stacked against England, Hussain said that captain Heather Knight has been bullish in her belief that they can win, which is the kind of attitude they need going in. The series will consist of one Test match, three ODIs and three T20Is, with the Test match worth four points and each of the shorter form games worth two points.
