Former American President Barack Obama took to X (the social media previously known as Twitter) to wish his wife, former First Lady, Michelle, a happy birthday which had his online friends and social media followers chiming in to also wish her the best of wishes on her special day.
Michelle Obama turned 60 on Wednesday, 17 January. Her hubby, the 62-year-old former American President posted a photo of her wearing a flowy yellow dress, smiling, and glowing in the sun, backdropped by the ocean.
This is what 60 looks like. Happy birthday to my better half — who happens to be one of the funniest, smartest, most beautiful people I know, Barack penned.
Michelle Obama, you make every day better. I can’t wait to see what this new decade brings you, he added.
The former First Lady was in South Africa in November, last year. She was spotted with global philanthropist Melinda French Gates, leading human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, and activist and former South African First Lady Graça Machel as they joined forces to discuss eradicating child marriage and empowering girls across the globe, IOL reported.
