LONDON, Jan 17: Kensington Palace confirmed on Wednesday that Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is in recovery after undergoing planned abdominal surgery. The 42-year-old princess was admitted to The London Clinic on Tuesday, and the surgery, deemed successful by the palace, was performed as part of a planned medical procedure.
While Princess Kate is expected to spend the next 10 to 14 days in the hospital, her full recovery will continue at the family’s residence. The Duchess, wife of Prince William and mother to their three young children, is anticipated to resume her public duties after the Easter period.
