Union Minister Chandrasekhar Praises PM Modi’s Efforts in Lifting 25 Crore Indians from Poverty
New Delhi [India], January 16 (ANI): Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for uplifting 25 crore Indians from poverty, taking a dig at the Congress government’s empty slogans on ‘Garibi Hatao’ (eradicate poverty).
Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, Chandrasekhar emphasized that it was through the focused, hardworking, and corruption-free governance of Prime Minister Modi, along with his ‘Garib Kalyan’ (welfare of the poor) policies, that 25 crore Indians were uplifted from poverty. He criticized the Congress government’s ineffective implementation of slogans like ‘Garibi Hatao’ over the past 65 years.
The Congress played injustice on Indians for several decades, and it took Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government’s efforts to reverse this anyay (injustice). It is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has lifted them out of poverty, said Chandrasekhar.
Highlighting the transformation of the Indian start-up ecosystem under PM Modi’s leadership, Chandrasekhar mentioned that the country has gone from having no start-ups in 2014 to becoming the fastest-growing ecosystem in the world and the third-largest. He also pointed out that the Indian banking network, which was dominated by nine groups during the Congress regime, has now opened up for young start-ups, resulting in the potential growth of 10,000 unicorns.
Chandrasekhar also acknowledged the significance of the ongoing Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, stating that it is an important event for millions of Indians who hold faith dear to their hearts. The ceremony, set to take place on January 22, is expected to witness the attendance of various dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Preparations for the ceremony are underway, with the formal procedures for pre-Praan Pratishtha sacraments commencing today and continuing until January 21.
The achievements and initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government have been widely lauded, with efforts focused on transforming and uplifting the lives of millions of Indians. The implementation of various welfare schemes and policies targeting poverty eradication has earned considerable recognition, solidifying Prime Minister Modi’s role as a leader dedicated to the well-being and progress of the nation.
