After England lost the first test match at Edgbaston to Australia on Tuesday, Stokes believes that a good rest for his bowling attack is necessary before the second men’s test begins on June 28 at Lord’s. One of the major injury concerns that have emerged in the English camp is spinner Moeen Ali’s spinning finger. His finger got cut open on the second day of the first test match, but Stokes selected him for his match-winning moments, given his valuable performance with the ball. Australia now has a 1-0 lead in the series.
