Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 13 (ANI): Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lala in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, the Uttar Pradesh government has significantly enhanced security measures in the city. Utilizing a combination of land, air, and water surveillance, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Yogi’s administration is deploying advanced technologies and manual agencies to ensure a tight security blanket.

The security arrangements include the deployment of a massive force comprising the UP Police, Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS), Special Task Force (STF), Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), and UP Special Security Force (UPSSF). The government is also leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), anti-drone systems, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to closely monitor activities across Ayodhya.

To reinforce security along the Sarayu River and ghats, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) contingent has been stationed. In addition, Ayodhya has implemented barcoding systems to ensure ample security for guests attending the event.

Ayodhya Inspector General Praveen Kumar reported that, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s guidance, a substantial police force has been deployed for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir. The security measures divide the area into two zones, red and yellow. Central agencies such as the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and NDRF have also been positioned, with the cooperation of the Intelligence Bureau and RAW.

The security team includes over 100 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), approximately 325 inspectors, and 800 sub-inspectors from various districts across the state. Furthermore, an additional 11,000 personnel from police and paramilitary forces will be deployed before the main event.

In terms of VIP security, three Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), 17 Superintendents of Police (SPs), 40 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), 82 DSPs, 90 inspectors, over a thousand constables, and four companies of PAC have been assigned.

The authorities have intensified security arrangements in anticipation of the event, emphasizing the need for better coordination among all involved agencies to avoid any lapses. Special attention has been given to tightening railway security.

Additionally, Ayodhya has appointed extra security personnel for the Government Railway Police (GRP). The deployed forces are undergoing behavioral training to ensure proper interactions with devotees and guests. Moreover, 250 police guides have been designated to provide information about tourist spots, and a digital tourist app will be launched on January 14.

The official statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) highlighted the utilization of advanced technology in Ayodhya’s security measures. The entire city is being monitored through the Information Technology Management System (ITMS) of the Municipal Corporation, with CCTV cameras installed by the police and integrated with the ITMS. The integration of 1,500 public CCTV cameras with the ITMS enables monitoring at 10,715 locations in the yellow zone, incorporating AI-based facial recognition technology.

Furthermore, arrangements have been made for cameras linked through Optical Fiber Cable (OFC). The comprehensive security system extensively employs AI technology, while the anti-drone system remains fully operational.

The highly sensitive red and yellow zones of Ayodhya have been secured with the help of an anti-drone system, enabling the location and deactivation of any drone flying within a 5 km radius.

According to the CMO, this anti-drone system developed by an Israeli company embodies the world’s most advanced technology, rendering any drone powerless.

Twelve anti-drone systems are installed throughout Ayodhya, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of activities on land, water, and in the air. Barcoding measures have also been implemented to ensure VIP security during the program without causing inconvenience.

As the sacred city of Ayodhya gears up for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir, the Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has taken extensive measures to tighten security. From the deployment of a significant police force to the use of advanced technologies like AI and anti-drone systems, Ayodhya aims to ensure a peaceful and secure atmosphere for the momentous event. With the coordination of various agencies and the emphasis on behavioral training of security personnel, all efforts are being made to safeguard both the devotees and the holy city of Ayodhya.
