Inflection Point Ventures has launched a new accelerator program called IPV Ideaschool batch 1, aimed at early-stage startups. The program offers a range of benefits, including seed funding, access to industry experts, and opportunities for follow-on funding and partnerships.
The program is set to run for six weeks and is open to entrepreneurs looking to transform their business ideas into minimum viable products (MVPs). Out of an expected 2000 applicants, 100 startups will be initially shortlisted, with 40 moving forward to become active participants in the accelerator program.
The shortlisted startups will undergo rigorous evaluation, including multi-level shortlisting, to determine the Elite 40 who will progress to the final program. At the end of the six weeks, the top 15 startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of esteemed industry experts at a grand event.
The most promising five startups from this group will receive Rs 80 lakhs each as seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures, providing a significant boost to their early-stage development. In addition to financial assistance, the Final 5 will also have access to IPV’s ecosystem, offering opportunities for further funding, VC connects, infrastructure support, partnerships, and expert mentorship.
Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, emphasized the program’s commitment to nurturing innovative ideas that contribute to India’s economy. He stated that IPV Ideaschool aims to provide startups with strategic guidance, early-stage funding, and the chance to scale their businesses rapidly.
Throughout the program, IPV experts will assist startups in refining their business plans, making necessary pivots, and ensuring their ideas are commercially viable. The startups will also benefit from bootcamps and masterclasses led by industry experts, covering various aspects of building a successful business.
Inflection Point Ventures will leverage its investors’ network, ecosystem partners, and other venture capitalists to support the startups in accessing essential infrastructure and raising additional capital. The program is a collaboration between Inflection Point Ventures, Firstport Capital, and Physis Capital, ensuring a strong foundation for the startups’ growth.
