Bahrain’s Hajj Mission has arrived in Makkah in preparation for the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. The Deputy Head of the mission, Dr. Mohammed Taher Al-Qattan, has announced that all committees and members have arrived at their headquarters in the Al-Naseem neighborhood. Headed by Shaikh Adnan Abdullah Al-Qattan, the mission visited Al Madinah Al Munawwarah to inspect the status of Bahrain’s Hajj campaigns and ensure that all procedures at the mission’s headquarters are progressing as planned.
The mission has signed a contract with a designated hospital for providing health care for all Bahraini pilgrims and members of the missions in Al-Madinah. The Deputy Head, Khaled Al-Maloud, and Shaikh Al-Qattan inspected the readiness of Mina and Arafat, where they were briefed on the preparations of the camps and facilities in the holy sites.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Qattan praised the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government in facilitating the arrival of the pilgrims through all ports. He also noted that a number of the delegation’s committees had already begun their tasks, which include the security committee, medical committee, assessment and follow-up committee, media and public relations committee, contractors and pilgrims relations committee, scouts, Red Crescent team, and transportation.
The medical committee has already started equipping the clinic at the mission’s headquarters, providing the necessary medical care to pilgrims and members of the Bahraini campaigns. Bahrain’s Hajj Mission is fully equipped to cover all the needs of the pilgrims during their pilgrimage.
The effective planning and coordination of committees and members show Bahrain’s commitment to providing safe and secure pilgrimage for all its citizens. The mission’s leaders’ visit to Al-Madinah Al Munawwarah and inspection of the preparation of camps and facilities in the holy sites highlights its preparedness for the Hajj season.
