In Kalaburagi district, the highest number of people needing glasses was 57,459, with 48,312 adults and 9,147 children. Following closely, Haveri reported 55,652 individuals requiring glasses, predominantly adults at 52,474 and 3,178 children. In Chikkaballapur, 29,173 individuals needed glasses, consisting of 23,276 adults and 5,897 children. Chamrajnagar recorded 30,768 individuals requiring glasses, including 28,273 adults and 2,195 children.
To create widespread awareness about the significance of good vision and the importance of eye care, the movement employs a multifaceted approach.
