The BJP’s Himachal Pradesh in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna has described the upcoming opposition party meeting in Patna as an attempt to forge an alliance of directionless people without any leadership. The June 23 meeting is seen by the party as an effort to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power, in which they are bound to fail, Khanna said, adding that the gathering is just of opportunistic parties with diverging ideologies. The meeting is aimed at uniting against Modi, Khanna added. The BJP leader also said that every scheme the Modi Government brings is aimed at removing the hardships of the poor.
