Toikido, the innovative toy company, has exciting plans for the upcoming year. These plans include the launch of an animated series, a collaboration with UEFA on Roblox, and the development of new partnerships and intellectual properties (IPs). Toikido gained recognition for its in-house creation, Piñata Smashlings, which was introduced last year. The company successfully collaborated with Among Us, the popular game by Innersloth, and achieved global success with the sale of 30 million toys across 100 countries.
Toikido expanded the Piñata Smashlings brand by launching a virtual game on Roblox, resulting in the introduction of licensed toys worldwide and partnerships with industry giants. To further enhance the brand’s presence, Toikido and Piñata Smashlings are working on a music album produced by Grammy award-winning music producer Jason Perry.
Toikido’s growth is evident in its expansion from a small team to 15 employees based in the UK, with a dedicated team led by Darryl Lai in the USA. The addition of experienced creative lead Johnny Taylor further strengthens Toikido’s creative prowess.
A partnership with Nelvana will produce an animated series based on Piñata Smashlings, consisting of 52 episodes. Toikido has also collaborated with UEFA for an official game integration and designed the official Euro 2024 mascot in preparation for the event.
Toikido recently announced a new pre-school IP called PeaKeeBoo in partnership with Moonbug. This visually stunning brand focuses on nature-inspired sounds and visuals, and Toikido looks forward to collaborating with Moonbug to build this new IP.
In 2024, Toikido plans to introduce two brand new IPs with accompanying video games and animations. The global toy line launches for these IPs are scheduled for 2025.
