Among them were twin baby girls, adding an extra dose of joy to the occasion. Joyce Peace Abuni, a registered midwife at the hospital’s maternity ward, shared the delightful news with Eye Radio, highlighting the balanced gender distribution with three girls and two boys. The medical team successfully carried out a surgical operation for one woman’s delivery, while the rest experienced natural births. The festive spirit extended beyond midnight, as four women had also given birth on New Year’s Eve, tallying the total number of births to nine as morning broke.
