A man wearing all black entered a mattress store in Marlton, Evesham on Wednesday evening, attempting to rob the establishment. Armed with a black weapon, believed to be a knife, the suspect demanded cash from the employees. During the incident, he physically assaulted an employee before locking them in a closet. Afterward, the assailant fled the scene. The victim managed to free themselves and promptly contacted the authorities. The Evesham police have not revealed the amount of cash the robber was able to escape with. A witness, who works near the store at Marlton Greene shopping center, disclosed that her colleague, a woman, sustained a facial injury due to the assault. The Evesham police have urged anyone with information to come forward and contact them through the provided phone numbers.
