A grieving father has made an emotional plea to his daughter’s killer, Jack Shepherd, urging him to reveal the truth about her speedboat death as he prepares for his release from prison. Graham Brown has always doubted Shepherd’s version of events, which claimed that Charlotte had taken control of the vessel before it crashed. In an interview with Sky News, Mr Brown spoke out, saying, Shepherd has never said what really happened that night… The pure fact that he took my daughter out on a dodgy speedboat at 10 o’clock at night, without life jackets, on a very dangerous stretch of the River Thames and accelerated up to 30 knots, and then to turn around and say, it was her fault… Shepherd, 35, is set to be automatically freed next month after serving half of his 10-year sentence for Charlotte’s manslaughter and a separate, unrelated assault in a pub. Mr Brown hopes that Shepherd will finally offer a full explanation for the tragic incident that took his daughter’s life.
