The track has been granted permission to run trains at a speed of 95 km/hour, although it achieved a top speed of 127 km/hour during testing.

CRS Sharma and his team conducted the tests, which began at 8:30 am and concluded at 7 pm. The trolley inspection was carried out from Barlia to Laxmbai Nagar Railway Station, followed by a speed test using an electric engine from Laxmbai Nagar to Barlia. The authorization from CRS Sharma marks a significant milestone in the project and paves the way for further progress and enhancement of railway connectivity in the region.

As always, the safety of passengers remains a top priority, with CRS Sharma ensuring that all necessary inspections and tests were carried out to ensure the track’s safety and stability before granting authorization.

With the track now deemed safe for operations, passengers can look forward to a more efficient and convenient rail travel experience in the Indore-Ujjain corridor.
