A gunman killed at least 15 people and wounded at least 24 others at a Prague university on Thursday before he was eliminated, according to local police. It is one of the worst mass shooting incidents in Europe. David Kozak, 24, was named by local media Thursday evening as the gunman. In a press conference, authorities confirmed the suspect was 24 years old and that his father had been found dead earlier today. Police say the family was from a village 13 miles outside Prague. The gunman went on a rampage at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University, where he was a student. Police are still searching the area, including the building’s balconies, for possible explosives. None of the police officers or other emergency services were injured during the intervention against the shooter, the police said. They also believe Kozak was acting alone and are not looking for any accomplices.
