Confluent launches program in India to streamline real-time data for startups

Confluent, a data streaming pioneer, has launched its Confluent for Startups program in India. The program allows startups to deploy Apache Kafka on Confluent Cloud for up to a year at no cost. Confluent for Startups also offers an opportunity for seed and A-round startups to set their data in motion to create smart, real-time applications. Confluent helps startups to bypass the pain of in-house development as they offer fully-managed Confluent Cloud. Startups will also get ongoing account management and technical support, free access to Confluent Cloud, two hours with specialist Kafka systems engineers and access to all Confluent self-paced and instructor-led training plus certification guidance. The startups will also become a part of the Confluent community where members share their experiences and help with infrastructure and business-related challenges. Deepak Ajmani, Vice President of APAC Commercial, said the startup program enables Indian early-stage businesses to get their infrastructure right from the start, with access to Kafka and Confluent experts to accelerate service development while dramatically reducing in-house technical work.
