Actor Ha Jung-woo, 2PM’s Lee Jun-ho, and Girls Generation’s Tiffany Young have been announced as presenters for the upcoming 38th Golden Disc Awards. The ceremony, known for its prestige in the Korean music industry, will take place on January 6 at the Jakarta International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Ha Jung-woo will be presenting the Album of the Year award, marking his first time as an awards presenter at the Golden Disc Awards. Lee Jun-ho, who previously presented the Digital Song of the Year award at the 37th Golden Disc Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand, will reprise his role in presenting the same award this year. Tiffany Young, a previous winner of major awards at the Golden Disc Awards, including Rookie of the Year, Album of the Year, and Digital Song of the Year as a member of Girls Generation, will also be presenting an award, although the specific trophy has not been disclosed by the organizing committee.
In addition to the star-studded lineup of presenters, the popular trio from the hit Korean web comedy show Psick Show, namely Lee Yong-ju, Jeong Jae-hyung, and Kim Min-soo, will entertain the audience with a special comedy skit during the ceremony.
The Golden Disc Awards, organized by the JoongAng Group, has been a celebrated event in the Korean music industry since its inception in 1986. This year’s awards will feature performances by some of the hottest K-pop artists of 2023, including SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, ZEROBASEONE, NewJeans, IVE, and LE SSERAFIM, among others.
