Former state home minister and Congress MLA from Rajpur constituency, Bala Bachchan, has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the issue of corruption in Madhya Pradesh. Bachchan accused the BJP government of corruption and claimed that even God wasn’t spared by the ruling party. With state assembly elections nearing, political activities have intensified, with both BJP and Congress leaders seeking to woo voters.
Bachchan, who was in Khandwa district, visited Omkareshwar, where he performed Narmada poojan and took darshan of Lord Omkareshwar. During his visit, he spoke to the media and accused the state government of corruption, stating that the BJP government is not even leaving God. He added that the bundle of their corruption would open and the pitcher of their sin would explode.
Bachchan also called out the BJP government for installing statues in Mahakal Lok, which he said fell easily even with a slight wind, categorizing it as shoddy work. He stated that an account must be given for this in the future.
With the state assembly elections approaching, both the BJP and Congress are working hard to appeal to voters. Bachchan’s statements are part of the political activities currently taking place in the state.
Overall, it can be seen that Bachchan has taken a no-holds-bar approach while critiquing the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh. The upcoming assembly elections are sure to be a closely fought contest between the two major political parties. It remains to be seen which of the parties can succeed in winning the hearts and minds of voters across the state.
