New Delhi, Dec 15: Lalit Jha, the accused in the Parliament security breach case, was aiming to create anarchy and force the government to meet their demands, according to the Delhi Police. Jha, along with his co-accused, allegedly planned to disrupt the country’s peace. The police are planning to seek permission from Parliament to recreate the December 13 incident, which occurred on the anniversary of the 2001 attack. Jha, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the conspiracy, was sent to seven-day police custody after his arrest. The police are also looking into whether the accused had any connections with foreign forces or terrorist organizations. Additionally, they are investigating the destruction of mobile phones used in the conspiracy and suspect foreign funding involvement in the planning. The accused reportedly designed shoes with cavities to hide smoke canisters. Two other men are currently being interrogated, but have not been arrested yet.
