Varanasi: RSS Forms Team of 35K Workers to Reach Every House in 27 Districts of Kashi Prant

Mobilizing their cadres from 27 districts in the Kashi region, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has embarked on an ambitious campaign to reach each and every household in 22,000 villages ahead of the idol consecration at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. With the aim of achieving this target by January 22, the RSS has strategized to form teams of over 35,000 volunteers in each district.

During a meeting held at Gokul Dham in Harahua area, top RSS officials, including regional Prachar Pramukh Rajendra ji, Prant Pracharak Ramesh, and other senior functionaries, finalized their plans. The campaign will see five lakh RSS workers reaching out to every village in groups of five, personally inviting residents to attend the ceremony at Ayodhya.

The priority of this extensive campaign is to cover 100% of the houses in the target region. Prant Pracharak Ramesh emphasized the importance of leaving no house unvisited, stating that one missed house could disrupt the entire campaign cycle. Ramesh also highlighted the previous success of the Kashi Prant in collecting funds for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple. Despite the challenging circumstances presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, they managed to surpass their target of Rs 51 crore by collecting a remarkable Rs 74 crore.

The upcoming campaign, deemed the world’s largest under the banner of the world’s largest organization, will be executed with great enthusiasm across the entire Kashi Prant. Running from January 1 to 15, the campaign will kick off with ‘Prabhat Pheri,’ a processional march, taking place in every village from January 18 to 21 to raise awareness amongst the locals. To ensure the success of the campaign, a committee comprising 35 to 40 workers will be established at the district level, while another group of 30 workers will operate at the block and city levels. Importantly, women will also be actively involved in the campaign.

For the efficient distribution of invitation cards to every village, a team of five workers will be formed for each village. This grassroots approach aims to engage every household and encourage participation in the ceremony at Ayodhya.

The RSS, with its extensive mobilization efforts, is set to connect with millions of households in the Kashi region and invite them to participate in the historic occasion. Through their dedicated teams of volunteers, they are determined to uphold the principle of ensuring no house is left untouched. As preparations for Ram Lalla’s idol consecration gather pace, the dedication and commitment of the RSS workers stand as a testament to their unwavering resolve in accomplishing their goals.
