According to an indictment filed in California, Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, allegedly avoided paying taxes while spending millions on an extravagant lifestyle that included sex club memberships and adult entertainment. The indictment, which spans 56 pages, states that between 2016 and 2020, Biden earned over $7 million in gross income, along with an additional $1.2 million in 2020 to support his lavish lifestyle.
Prosecutors claim that the funds were used to finance a lifestyle that included drugs, escorts, girlfriends, exotic cars, and high-end clothing. It is alleged that the $1.2 million, provided by a personal friend, was channeled through third parties before being used by Biden to pay rent for a luxurious house in Venice, California, as well as car payments for a Porsche. The indictment also reveals that Hunter Biden received payments exceeding $140,000 for his memoir, Beautiful Things.
However, prosecutors assert that Biden failed to file his taxes on time for several years, and when he finally submitted his tax returns in 2018, they contained false business deductions that reduced his tax liability.
The complete indictment was released to the public on Thursday evening in California. Access to the document can be found below:
