LG H&H Sales Surge by 294% on Japan’s Qoo10

South Korean beauty powerhouse LG Household & Health Care saw a remarkable 294% increase in sales on Japan’s leading online marketplace, Qoo10. The surge in sales comes just six months after LG H&H made its debut on the platform. The company has actively worked to raise brand awareness and expand its customer base by participating in Qoo10’s renowned megawari event. LG H&H’s sales growth in the event that ended on Sunday underscores the success of its flagship products.

LG H&H attributes its sales record to the exceptional performance of its luxury cosmetics brand, O Hui, and its popular ultimate fit jean cushion. During the November event, over 5,000 O Hui jean cushions, including three types, were sold in a mere 12 days. These products ranked third and fifth in the foundation and cushion categories, respectively, on Qoo10 Japan. LG H&H’s premium makeup brand, Glint, also experienced a significant boost in sales. Their flagship highlighter surpassed competitors, registering a 132% surge compared to a similar event in September.

In addition to cosmetics, LG H&H’s oral care product line gained traction as well. The Euthymol whitening toothpaste witnessed a remarkable 66% increase in sales compared to September, earning the second spot in the living category on Qoo10 Japan.
