A free health check-up camp, designed for the employees of the municipal corporation in Sagar, has been inaugurated under the Healthy-Wealthy India Mission. The camp aims to examine the health of the staff of the municipal corporation and provide medical advice.
The camp provides facilities to check blood sugar, obesity, cancer, thyroid, tiredness, and other cases. Mayor Sangeeta Sushil Tiwari inaugurated the camp, which was attended by councilors and other officials. All the councilors and officials of the corporation underwent health check-ups at the camp and were provided medical advice.
According to Mayor Tiwari, many people are suffering from high blood pressure, thyroid, cancer, obesity, and other physical problems, which are often overlooked by people’s representatives who work daily for the public. She stated that it is essential to check their health regularly so that they can seek medical advice and control their medical conditions.
As part of this initiative, an eye check-up camp was also organized in the auditorium of the corporation. Mayor Tiwari asserted that it is crucial to focus on the health of people’s representatives and officials to ensure that they can fulfill their duties towards the public effectively.
The camp is an excellent opportunity for staff to assess their health and receive advice on how to lead a healthy life. Providing such facilities helps people remain aware of their health and take necessary precautions to maintain it. This initiative is a positive step towards building a healthier community in Sagar.
