Casting director Mukesh Chhabra recently shared a humorous anecdote about his role in the blockbuster hit ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. During a gathering of OTT stars on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Chhabra revealed that his only task in the film was to dance.
Chhabra recalled how, after returning from a tiring day of shooting, director Anurag Kashyap would gather the cast and crew for a meal. During one of these gatherings, Kashyap noticed Chhabra’s dance moves and was inspired to write a role for him.
The role required Chhabra to dance and entertain Kashyap without a single line of dialogue. Despite this seemingly easy task, Chhabra was challenged to perform the dance sequence in a single take, which he managed to do successfully.
