Woman Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver While Riding Bicycle on San Antonio’s West Side

A woman riding her bicycle on the West Side was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Friday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Bandera Road in San Antonio. The unidentified driver fled the scene after colliding with the woman, who is 50 years old. The collision caused her to be thrown off her bike. Despite the lack of assistance from the driver, the woman was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. The San Antonio police are actively searching for the driver who, once located, will face charges of failure to stop and render aid in the case of serious bodily injury.
