The collaboration aims to advance Global Crossing Airlines’ commitment to reducing its carbon emissions and promoting sustainable air travel.
As part of the partnership, Global Crossing Airlines will invest in Karbon-X’s carbon offsetting program, which seeks to counteract the CO2 emissions generated by the airline’s operations. For the first three years, the program will offset 20% of the airline’s total fuel burn and introduce models that allow customers to offset the emissions from their flights.
Karbon-X will be supplying Global Crossing Airlines with approximately 83,000 CORSIA-certified offsets annually, based on current operational levels. In addition to carbon offsetting, Karbon-X will also provide consultancy services to Global Crossing Airlines for potential environmentally friendly projects, further emphasizing the company’s commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
