During the 70th birthday celebration of Oba Victor Kiladejo, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Tinubu, represented by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, assured traditional rulers that his administration would prioritize peace and security in their regions to preserve their cultural heritage. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu expressed gratitude for the valuable advice received from the Ondo monarch, while Oba Kiladejo commended Tinubu for attending his birthday and acknowledged the outstanding performance of Minister Tunji-Ojo.
In a separate report, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, called on the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu. The monarch urged the NLC, under the leadership of Joe Ajaero, not to weaponize strikes against the new administration. Akanbi expressed confidence that President Tinubu would be able to turn things around for the country and emphasized that Tinubu did not create the existing problems.
President Tinubu, known for his signature cap, has been spotted wearing different colored caps with the same symbol since his time as the governor of Lagos state.
