American actor David Harbour is excited to resume filming for the hit Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’ after the end of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike. Harbour, who plays the character Jim Hopper in the show, expressed his enthusiasm during the BoxLunch Holiday Gala in Los Angeles. He mentioned that he had already received a call from the showrunners, informing him about his return to set in Atlanta. The actor also shared his eagerness to work on the long-awaited fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things.’ Harbour revealed that during the strike, he had spent his time at home with his wife, Lily Allen, feeling a bit depressed. However, he is now thrilled to be back to work and looking forward to reconnecting with his co-stars.
In other ‘Stranger Things’ news, Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays Eleven in the series, recently mentioned in an interview with Glamour that she is ready to move on from the show. Brown, who was only 12 years old when ‘Stranger Things’ premiered in 2016, explained that filming the series takes up a considerable amount of time and prevents her from pursuing other creative interests. She expressed her gratitude to the show but indicated that she is now prepared to focus on other projects.
While most of Harbour’s co-stars have remained tight-lipped about the final season, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the beloved characters and the conclusion of the popular series.
