Saudi Arabian airline group Saudia is preparing for the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, offering 1.2 million seats to pilgrims through its Saudia, flyadeal, and Saudi Private Aviation brands. The pilgrimage is a religious obligation for able Muslims who visit holy sites in Saudi Arabia. The fleet will fly pilgrims from more than 100 scheduled destinations worldwide to six Saudi Arabian airports. More than 8,000 Saudia Group air crew will offer their multi-lingual expertise, and additional staff members will help navigate passengers through King Abdulaziz International Airport and Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport. Pilgrims will be provided with infotainment options that include pre-loaded religious programs, e-books, and instructional materials on Hajj and Umrah rituals.
