State-owned telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that it will auction off a 1,185 square metre property in Indore’s Khatiwala Tank area. The land, formerly the site of BSNL staff quarters, is estimated to be worth around INR77.9m ($1.05m). General manager Sanjeev Singhal confirmed that e-tenders and e-auctions will be held for the property and newspaper advertisements will be published shortly. BSNL recently put three properties in Madhya Pradesh up for auction, but failed to attract a buyer during the first auction. Reports suggest the properties may be re-auctioned in the future.
