A shocking incident of a man’s murder has surfaced in Muzaffarnagar, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The police have arrested the wife and her lover in connection to the murder of the deceased, Sagar, who was a native of Mandal village. The Purkazi police station’s Station House Officer informed the media that the woman, Ashiya, and her lover, Suhail, were arrested on Thursday.
The police had found Sagar’s body inside a septic tank on June 6, and he had initially gone missing, which made the police start an investigation. The SHO confirmed that Ashiya had admitted to killing her husband with the help of her lover Suhail. She dumped Sagar’s body in the septic tank.
The confession claimed that Ashiya had taken the extreme step since her husband had discovered her relationship with Suhail. The police have taken both the accused into custody, and further investigation is underway. The couple’s illicit affair had pushed them to murder a man in cold blood.
