Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan believes that his latest tour, the ‘Varahi Vijaya Yatra,’ will bring about a significant shift in politics in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Travelling to districts across the region, Kalyan is attempting to gain a deeper understanding of the problems being faced by local people. Speaking with media after conducting the Jana Vani program at Gollaprollu during the second day of his Yatra tour, Kalyan stated that under the current government, even expressing grief results in violence from the ruling party.
Kalyan believes the purpose of his tour is to help people overcome their problems by providing the correct solutions. He wants to interact with people who have had problems so that he can get a better understanding of their needs. He explained that seeing the grief of a young girl who lost her home to the security of the Chief Minister was what prompted him to conduct the Jana Vani, a campaign for addressing the grievances of people.
In response to criticism from his detractors, Kalyan stated that he would respond with actions rather than words. He advised his critics to avoid theatrics and not resort to demonizing or mocking him. Instead, he said that they should have a different and better perspective so that they can understand the reality.
Kalyan later interacted with handloom weavers and sericulture farmers where he discussed how to address the problems these groups face better. During the meeting, he promised that Jana Sena would strive to develop Uppada as a Silk City.
