As a part of the build-up program aimed at raising awareness about the significance of yoga day, the council has also planned a yoga camp from June 17-20 in association with the Union Ministry of Ayush and partner yoga institutions. The yoga camp will be conducted at three major gardens – Nehru Park, Lodhi Garden, and Talkatora Garden.
The NDMC aims to encourage citizens to embrace yoga as a way of promoting a healthy lifestyle. As a result, the council has taken the initiative to organize yoga sessions in multiple public places across the city. The yoga sessions will provide an opportunity for citizens to learn the various asanas and understand the physical and mental benefits of practicing yoga.
