New Multi-Level Parking Facility Now Available for Collectors

Collector Asheesh Singh has recently instructed that roadside parking should not be allowed in the vicinity of New Market in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This is the second time in a month that he has made such an announcement, emphasizing that visitors will have to park in multi-level parking facility. Singh also had a meeting with shopkeepers to discuss not promoting any kind of parking in front of shops.

To improve the parking system located in New Market, Singh instructed that shops should be shifted for parking purpose at 10-number Market parking. He expressed his displeasure with the lack of action taken and asked for the shops to be relocated and an opening to be formed for parking. He further inspected areas such as Chowpatty located at six-number and 11-number and took stock of street vendors in front of Hanuman Temple and Bawadiyakalan Over bridge.

The government official also inspected the traffic system from TT Nagar police station and the parking lot located at TT Nagar. During the inspection, he instructed that a towing van and the staff of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) should be present to take strict action so that no vehicle could be parked on the road. He has also made clear instructions for the clearing of road traffic and obstructions caused by vendors.

Singh also visited platform number one of the old Bhopal Railway Station and inspected the arrangement in front and around it. He also shared information about the work of widening the road from Chunabhatti to Shaitan Singh Chauraha to improve the parking system on the road in front of Bansal Hospital. Singh urged the hospital management to make arrangements for visitor parking in hospital premises.

In conclusion, the Collector has given several instructions to improve the traffic system and parking facilities in various areas in Bhopal. His latest announcement emphasizes the use of multi-level parking facilities and prohibits roadside parking in the vicinity of New Market. It remains to be seen whether these instructions will be adhered to and how the changes will affect traffic flow and parking in the area.
