The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has started a rapid development process in its Town Planning Schemes TPS 9 and 10 worth approximately Rs 512 crore, following the approval of tenders in the last board meeting. The IDA officials have confirmed that the internal roads of 18 meters to 75 meters in length, as well as major roads earmarked in the master plan, are being constructed. Moreover, the construction of eight-lane roads has also begun.
The TPS-9, covering an area of about 260 hectares, includes some parts of Bhicholi Hapsi, Kanadia, and Tigariyarao. Meanwhile, TPS-10, which is spread over 221 hectares, includes Bada Bangarda, Limbodagari, Palakhedi, Tigaria Badshah, and other areas. According to the IDA, over 100 gardens will be developed in these schemes. Thousands of saplings will also be planted ahead of the monsoon season.
The development process also involves the creation of vital facilities such as drainage, water, and electricity in the area. Once completed, local residents will have access to an improved standard of living. The combined development work carried out in the two schemes represents one of the biggest undertakings in recent times.
The IDA officials say that the objective of this project is to provide high-quality facilities and amenities to the residents living in the affected areas. The development work in TPS 9 and TPS 10 is a crucial step towards catering to the needs of the rapidly-growing population of the city. These schemes aim to create a comfortable and safe living environment for the people living there. The IDA is hopeful that the development work on these schemes will be completed as soon as possible to benefit the people of Indore.
