In response to his request, a representative from the company flew all the way from Malaysia to Los Angeles to deliver the watches to Kingston. It was reported that Kingston assured the company that he would make payment via wire transfer, but unfortunately, that payment never materialized.
Dream Watch has been trying to resolve this matter amicably, repeatedly reaching out to Kingston for payment. However, the singer has allegedly ignored all their requests and has failed to acknowledge the legal papers served to him. Consequently, the jewelry company has decided to seek a judgment in its favor.

In 2017, Norman Silverman Diamonds also filed a lawsuit against him, attempting to recover $21,353 for a purchased watch. The singer initially paid $10,000 towards a $46,000 Rolex watch and subsequently sent a check for the remaining $36,000. However, the check bounced, leaving the jeweler without the agreed-upon payment. Despite eventually paying $15,000 back in 2013 to settle a portion of the outstanding amount, Kingston has supposedly avoided further contact with Silverman Diamonds.
