Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Ayodhya, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India will soon be recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world with the implementation of development projects worth Rs 32,000 crores (approximately $4.4 billion USD). The city is undergoing major construction works aimed at making it a top international tourist destination.
Adityanath highlighted the installation of the idol of Lord Ram in his own temple as the major milestone that Ayodhya will achieve. After waiting for 500 years, the idol is set to be installed in January and will be attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will further enhance Ayodhya’s significance on a global scale.
In addition to the temple construction, Ayodhya also has ongoing infrastructural developments, including the development of a grand Ram Temple and a main railway station expansion. Plus, railway projects in Surya Kund and Bharat Kund are set to commence soon.
Furthermore, Ayodhya will have its own international airport, which will be completed within the year to boost the local economy and create employment opportunities for its residents.
Adityanath’s vision is to make Ayodhya the most beautiful city in the world by rehabilitating the residents and rejuvenating the community surrounding the Mahatma Bharat’s meditation place. Moreover, he emphasises the significance of showcasing other sites related to Lord Ram.

He emphasised the need for a development-oriented government that is committed to public welfare and preserves India’s rich heritage.
