Prof Tulika Chandra, Head of Transfusion Medicine at KGMU, called the booklet beneficial for patients without donors. In other developments in Lucknow’s government hospitals, patients now have access to donor blood upon the advice of their doctors. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences and KGMU will provide blood units to those in need until June 28th, with KGMU catering specifically to those requiring B and O positive blood units.
