Pakistani-American Physician Attacked in Texas, Sparks Global Outrage
In a distressing incident that highlights the persistent rise of hate crimes targeted towards the Muslim community, Dr Talat Jahan Khan, a Pakistani-American physician in Conroe, Texas, fell victim to a hateful attack. The 52-year-old, beloved by her community, was assaulted outside her apartment on Saturday by the attacker, Miles Joseph Friedrich. Although Friedrich managed to flee the scene initially, he was later apprehended.
